Room: PH 111 (Pharmacy School, Busch Campus) Time: Mon/Wed 4th period (1:40 - 3:00 PM) Course Instructor: Dr. Sidney Auerbach Nelson D410 445-3441 AUERBACH@BIOLOGY.RUTGERS.EDU Office hours: 3:15- 4:15 Mon/Wed and by appointment Required Textbook- Neuroscience, Exploring the Brain 3rd edition by Bear, Connors & Paradiso. Grading: Grades will be based on three in-class Exams and a Final Exam. Lecture Notes: Abbreviated lecture notes will be posted on Sakai . Students are strongly advised to attend all lectures. The posted lecture notes are only brief summaries of the material covered in class and we cannot guarantee that everything said in class is reflected in the posted notes! Experience shows that students who attend lecture and study the textbook learn better and perform better on tests compared to students who rely only on lecture notes. _________________________________________________________ Lecture Schedule The lecture schedule will change substantially for the Fall 2008 semester with the retirement of Professor Page and the adoption of a new textbook; Neuroscience, Exploring the Brain by Mark Bear et al.
