Division of Life Sciences Construction Projects

 

  We are continuing to grow. There are three construction projects underway in the Nelson Laboratories Area.

1) The Life Sciences Building is under construction between Nelson Laboratories and the Wright Chemistry Building. This building will house the Department of Genetics, The Human Genetics Institute and the Center for Biomaterials.

2) A 5000+ square foot Rutgers University Cell and DNA Repository Addition is replacing the Nelson greenhouses The project also includes a 1200 square foot laboratory addition and renovation for the Cell and DNA Repository

3) Renovations to the first floor and second floors of the Nelson A-wing will provide new laboratory space for the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and Offices for the Bureau of Biological Research / Division of Life Sciences Business Office, and offices that manage the Division of Life Sciences Undergraduate and Graduate Programs.
