(12pm LSB Auditorium) Dr. Joseph Landolph Jr.; Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, Department of Comprehensive Cancer Center, Los Angeles, CA Abstract: Insoluble Ni compounds induced morphological transformation (Tx) of 10T1/2 cells. 130 genes were differently expressed in Ni/MCA-Tx cell lines. Ect-2, calnexin, Wdr1 genes were over-expressed; ect-2 amplified; DRIP/TRAP80 and b-centaurin-2 genes were silenced, in Tx cell lines. Differential expression of these genes caused morphologic Tx of 10T1/2 cells. |
