Honors in Cell Biology and Neuroscience are awarded to students who have successfully completed the Honors Research Track.
To qualify for the Honors Research Track (Option B), a student must have attained a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 and a grade-point average of 3.5 or better in courses required for the major. A letter requesting admission into the Honors Program should be accompanied by a copy of the student's academic transcript and handed into Dr. Nathan Hart (Nelson room C228). This should be done by the end of the first semester of the Junior year. Each Honors student is expected to successfully complete a thesis and make an oral presentation of their research.
