Graduate Programs in Molecular Biosciences
Molecular Biosciences is an umbrella program that
administers five graduate programs in the life sciences at
the Graduate School-New Brunswick of Rutgers University and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) and serves as an
entry portal that manages admissions and first year
curriculum. Students are free to carry out their PhD research with any faculty member in any of these
five joint graduate programs at Rutgers or RWJMS. Research opportunities in more than 200 laboratories and competitive stipends are available.

About the Rutgers-UMDNJ Integration
The New Jersey Medical and Health Sciences Education
Restructuring Act provides for most schools and units of
UMDNJ to be transferred to Rutgers, effective July 1,
2013. As a result of this integration, you will see
changes to this website.
