Northbound - Coming from southern New Jersey
- Turn off at Exit 105 and follow signs for Route 18 North.
- After approximately 24 miles you will pass the entrance for the New Jersey Turnpike and continue on Route 18 North.
- Proceed along Route 18 North, crossing the Raritan River (approximately 3.7 miles).
- Take the Busch Campus Exit.
- Follow directions below for “From Busch Campus Exit.”
From Route 1 (North or South)
- Turn off at exit marked "Route 18 North-New Brunswick."
- Proceed along Route 18 North, crossing the Raritan River (approximately 3.7 miles).
- Take the Busch Campus Exit.
- Follow directions below for “From Busch Campus Exit.”
From Route 287 (North or South)
- Turn off at Exit 9 (formerly Exit 5) "River Road, Bound Brook, Highland Park."
- Proceed east on River Road toward Highland Park.
- Continue on River Road and you will pass under the overpass for Route 18. Make the next left onto Route 18 North.
- Take the Busch Campus Exit.
From Busch Campus Exit
- At traffic circle – take second exit off circle (Frelinghuysen Road)
- Make right on Allison Road and take to the end
- To go to the Life Sciences Building, which is on the corner of Allison Road and Bevier Road, make a right at Bevier Road. The front entrance is on the right; use Lot 54 with a Rutgers University issued parking permit (see “Parking” below).
- To go to the Nelson Biology Laboratories Building, make a left at Bevier Road. Entrances are on the left; use Lots 56 or 58 with a Rutgers University issued parking permit (see “Parking” below).
Parking
Please note that all lots require either a Rutgers University issued Faculty/Staff Permit or a One-Day Visitor Permit. A Visitor Permit can be requested from the office being visited, and should be done so in advance, or by purchasing a visitor permit online at: https://ipo.rutgers.edu/parking/permits/visitor.
- Lot 54 – from Allison Road make a right on Bevier Road and then first left on Titsworth Place; first lot on the right
- Lot 56 – from Allison Road make a left on Bevier Road; first small lot on the left
- Lot 55 – from Allison Road make a left on Bevier Road; second lot, gated (slash card required) on the left
- Lot 58 – from Allison Road make a left on Bevier Road; third lot on the left
