The 2022 DLS Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program concluded on August 10th with an in-person poster session luncheon held in the Life Science Building Atrium. Thirty seven outstanding fellows completed ten weeks of research this summer thanks to the generous support of Mr. and Mrs. Duncan MacMillan, the DLS, the Human Genetics Institute of New Jersey, Rutgers Honors College with the Johnson & Johnson Women in STEM2D Program, and the SAS Honors Program.
New this year, the DLS provided additional fellowship support to rising SAS senior and Biological sciences major, Sylvia Juarez Rojas, the recipient of the 2022 Koury Walker First –Generation Summer Research Scholarship, generously provided by Mr. Mark Koury and Ms. Daphne Walker, through a collaboration with the SAS Scholarship Office.
